Position: Consulting Position for a Certified Professional Coder-Auditor
An Atlanta based healthcare consulting and accounting firm specializing in physician medical practice consulting, is seeking a seasoned certified professional coder. Eligible candidate must have five or more years of physician chart auditing and detailed reporting experience and also be proficient in coding surgical and E&M services, interpretation of billing regulations (particularly Medicare and Medicaid) and training of providers and staff on coding. A strong compliance background and college degree is required. Knowledge in a variety of specialties, experience in appeals to Medicare and Medicaid audit agencies, public speaking, ASC coding/billing and practice operational experience will be considered a plus. 20-40% travel required. We provide an excellent benefit package including continuing education for courses related to your career with our firm.
