Chris holds a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Eastern Montana College (currently Montana State University-Billings). Chris joined GatesMoore in 1989 as a staff accountant immediately following his graduation.
Since joining GatesMoore Chris has specialized in corporate and individual tax planning and preparation. He also has concentrated in retirement plan design and compliance. In 1996 Chris was awarded a Certificate of Educational Achievement for Tax Planning and Advising for Closely Held Businesses by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Chris co-authored: Cost Analysis Made Simple: A Step by Step Guide to Using Cost Accounting to Ensure Practice Profitability, and is a frequent speaker for various medical associations.
A Certified Public Accountant, he is a member of the Georgia Society of CPAs and the American Society of Pension Actuaries. Chris became a principal with GatesMoore in 1998.
